Safety in Coworking

Dear Baltimore,

Function Coworking Community has always thrived on creating more community interactions through events, celebrations, and an abundance of common areas at our coworking space in Baltimore. Our welcoming professional atmosphere is still here, while we have adapted to ensure that your health and safety is our highest priority.

Now more than ever we are hearing from creative professionals and people working remotely that they just need a quiet place away from home to get work done. We are hearing from newly formed small businesses and veteran non-profit organizations that their office space is no longer available, or that they just need a team or client meeting space only when they need it, without the high overhead cost, commitment, and risk required to sign a commercial lease.

In order to make this possible, we are taking your safety as our priority. Here are some of the precautions we are taking, which are posted and enforced throughout the building, and agreed to by each Member:

Private Offices - close the door to work quietly in your own space, with no mask required.

Safe Spaces - masks required for all shared areas in the building, or if working with your door open.

Clean & Open - daily sanitization, hand sanitizer provided, high ceilings, air purifiers running.

Clear Policies - Simple safety policies are posted throughout the building and consistently enforced.

We host a variety of community events, including musical performances, art openings, improv comedy, non-profit presentations, company dinners, awards ceremonies, birthday parties, retirements, baby showers, and more.
